Singular

AI Connector

Connect Claude or another MCP-compatible assistant to your Singular account and ask it to look up and record data on your behalf, with your permissions.

Connector address

https://api.linksingular.com/v1/mcp

Who can use it

The connector is included in paid plans. Whoever connects needs the permission to manage AI assistants, which owners and administrators have by default. Each connection covers one Singular account.

How to connect

Claude on the web, desktop and mobile

  1. Open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Paste the connector address and click Connect.
  3. Sign in with your Singular account, check the account shown and click Allow access.

On Team and Enterprise plans, the organization Owner adds the connector.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http singular https://api.linksingular.com/v1/mcp

Run the command in the terminal, open Claude Code, type /mcp, pick singular and authorize in the browser.

With an API key

Create the key in Settings → Integrations → AI assistants. It is shown only once. In the examples below, replace SUA_CHAVE with the key or export SINGULAR_API_KEY.

Codex

# ~/.codex/config.toml
[mcp_servers.singular]
url = "https://api.linksingular.com/v1/mcp"
bearer_token_env_var = "SINGULAR_API_KEY"

Cursor

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "singular": {
      "url": "https://api.linksingular.com/v1/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer SUA_CHAVE"
      }
    }
  }
}

Other assistants

Register the address as an MCP server over HTTP. If the assistant supports OAuth, you sign in through the browser. If it does not, send the key in the Authorization: Bearer header.

What the assistant does

  • PostOn: accounts, posts, calendar and publishing to social networks.
  • Products and stock: catalog, categories, stock lookups and one-off stock removal.
  • Customers: search, registration, address and labels.
  • Orders: creation, confirmation, charge generation, manual settlement and refund records.
  • Purchasing: suppliers, purchase orders, shipments and receiving.
  • Store: catalog, store orders, manual sales, photos and featured products.

The assistant only sees what your account has: it depends on your modules and permissions.

What the assistant does not do

  • It does not access clinical records, diaries, documents or the calendar.
  • It does not transfer money. Refunds at the payment provider, buying shipping labels and canceling online orders stay in the panel.
  • It can generate the charge for an order, with the link your customer uses to pay. With card installments, the next installments are charged to the customer's card, like any charge made in the panel.

Security

  • The assistant acts on your behalf and can only do what you can do in the connected account.
  • Before allowing, check the address on the screen. If Singular does not know the app, the screen warns where access goes and asks you to confirm that you requested it.
  • Write actions, errors and security events are logged.
  • To disconnect, use Settings → Integrations → AI assistants. Renewal stops right away, and access already issued lasts up to 1 hour.
  • Changing or resetting your password disconnects your assistants and revokes your personal keys.
  • Anyone with your key acts as you. Keep it like a password.

Watch out for text from third parties

Order notes, names and messages are written by customers and may contain instructions meant to trick the assistant. Review what it proposes before confirming, especially publications, settlements and stock changes.

Limits

  • 120 calls per minute per connection or key, and 30 writes per minute.
  • One tool per request.
  • The first call after some idle time can take about 30 seconds. The assistant waits and retries on its own.

Common problems

The assistant asked me to sign in again
The connection expires after 90 days without use, and changing your password also disconnects it. Connect again.
A tool does not show up
It depends on your modules and permissions. If the connection was opened before something new shipped, reconnect.
The Allow access button is off
Your account lacks the permission to manage assistants, or you still have to confirm that you requested the connection.
